At Eighteen follows the story of three teenagers and the problems they are facing on a personal level.
Choi Joon Woo is an eighteen year old student. His teenage life has been a bad experience for him. He has seen a lot of family trouble and conflicts in school life. He is forced to transfer schools for a violation he did not commit. He gets transferred to Cheonbong High School, where he has decided to stay by himself. He became a loner. He faces communication problems. He is not able to express his feelings after a troubled past.
Yoo Soo Bin is a top student at Cheonbong High School. She also faces trouble in her personal life. Her life is controlled by her mother. Her mother makes every decision about her behavior. Yoo Soo Bin has to follow her mother in every choice she makes for her.
Ma Whi-Young is a student who is perfect and gentle. He suffers from a complex. He acts like a strong person, but he is really a timid boy.
The loner inside Joon Woo has come out of his comfort zone. Not only for himself but for his fellow students who were immature and inexperienced like him. He faces conflicts and whirlwinds of emotions and the prejudices of a world shaped by the adults around him.
These three teenagers come together and make a move to make their lives free from the emotional burden they are carrying.
Actors, Ong Seong-wu, Kim Hyang-gi, Shin Seung-ho, and Kang Ki-young are playing key roles in the series with various other actors in the supporting roles.
The series is directed by Shim Na-yeon and the story of the series is written by Yoon Kyung-ah. The series is co produced by Park Jun-seo and Park Sung-hye in association with Drama House and KeyEast production companies.
The series is released on October 4, 2023 and streaming on MXplayer
