The cast has released a new video for their upcoming film Beverly Hills Cop: Axel
Featuring NFL quarterback Jared Goff getting some lessons from Axel Foley. The man was seen talking about the Detroit Lions quarterback from Los Angeles in the new video. He said he started taking notes from Foley to create better content. Throughout the video, clips from the upcoming Beverly Hills Cop sequel are also available.
Beverly Hills Cop: What do we know about the Axel F?
“After their daughter’s life is threatened, she (Taylour Paige) and Foley team up with a new friend (Joseph Gordon-Levitt) and old friends Billy Rosewood (Judge Rein Hold) and John Taggart (John Ashton) to bring about the heat. And the mystery is a conspiracy,” is the film’s start.
Beverly Hills Cop: Axel is created by director Mark Molloy, with a story by Will Beall, Tom Gormican and Kevin Ayton, based on the comics created by Danilo Bach and Daniel Petrie Jr. Murphy will be joined by Joseph Gordon-Levitt in the latest installment. Taylor Page, Judge Rein Hold, John Ashton, Paul Reiser, Bronson Pinchot and Kevin Bacon. It is executive produced by Ray Angelique, Charrisse Hewitt-Webster and Lorenzo di Bonaventura. Producers are Murphy, Jerry Bruckheimer, Chad Oman and Melissa Reed.
The original Beverly Hills Cop was released in 1984 and starred Eddie Murphy as Axel Foley, a Detroit man who visits Beverly Hills, California to solve the murder of his best friend Stick. The film was a massive hit, grossing over $300 million at the box office and was even nominated for an Academy Award for Best Musical Script. The film spawned two sequels, released in 1987 and 1994, but they did not receive the same critical acclaim or box office success as the original film.
