Light up the Bat Signal! Prime Video’s animated series “Batman: Caped Crusader” will premiere on August 1. Prime Video will offer all ten episodes from the first season.

“Batman: Caped Crusader” will expand on “Batman: The Animated Series,” which Timm co-created and broadcast on Fox Kids for 85 episodes between 1992 and 1995. “Batman: The Animated Series” won multiple Daytime Emmys and a Primetime Emmy for outstanding animated programming.
Plot
“Batman: Caped Crusader” is set in the Gotham City, where the corrupt outnumber the virtuous, criminals roam free, and law-abiding residents live in continuous terror. Forged in the furnace of tragedy, affluent socialite Bruce Wayne transforms into the BATMAN, who is both more and less than human. His one-man quest for justice draws unexpected friends from the GCPD and City Hall, but his heroic efforts have terrible, unanticipated consequences.”
Cast and Crew
J.J. Abrams, Matt Reeves, and Bruce Timm are executive producers on the series, which reimagines the Batman narrative. The series’ executive producers are Ed Brubaker, James Tucker, Daniel Pipski, Rachel Rusch Rich, and Sam Register.
