Some time ago, YouTuber Adnan Sheikh married his long-time girlfriend Ayesha Sheikh. The actor himself shared the photos of the pre-wedding function Haldi, Sangeet on social media but his wife’s face was hidden in all of them. After this, when the video of the Nikah came on social media on September 24, his wife was wearing a mask in it.
When these photos went viral, there was a lot of controversy over it. People started trolling him online as to why he did not show his wife’s face. Actually Adnan had already instructed the paps that they will not reveal his wife’s face. Now in this matter, Adnan has given his clarification as to why he hid his wife’s face.
Speaking to Hindustan Times, Adnan said, “I wanted to keep her under wraps. I don’t want to use my wife as content for other people. I wanted to keep my love life private because I have seen that evil eye happens. Evil eye is a very bad thing. I don’t care about this kind of trolling.”
This whole matter came into limelight when Adnan‘s sister Ifat filed an FIR against him. Ifat alleged that Adnan beats her. Ifat also claimed that Ayesha who is married to Adnan is allegedly a Hindu. She has converted to Islam to get married. Her real name is Riddhi Jadhav.
In his defence, Adnan said that his sister is doing all this on the behest of her father-in-law because they wanted a flat in the wedding which I did not give them. They are doing this to take revenge. My sister’s in-laws wanted me to marry her sister-in-law but I loved Ayesha so I refused to do so. That is why they are angry.
