“Box Office Roundup: ‘Deadpool and Wolverine’ Triumphs as ‘Ulajh’ and ‘Auron Mein Kahan Dum Tha’ Struggle; ‘Bad News’ Faces Decline”

Hollywood Movies creating stir on Indian Box Office

Ulajh:

Two Bollywood movies were released in theaters on 2 August 2024. One of these names is from Janhvi Kapoor‘s film ‘Ulajh. The film ‘Ulajh’ directed by Sudhanshu Sariya, was promoted extensively. However, the film struggled at the box office after its release and now seems to be completely missing from the earning track.

Made with a budget of Rs 50 crore, this film took an opening of Rs 1.15 crore on its release day. On the second day on Saturday, it did a business of Rs 1.75 crore. On the third day on Sunday, it added Rs 2 crore to its account. Since then the condition of ‘Uljajh’ has deteriorated. ‘Ulajh’ collected Rs 60 lakh on the sixth day of its release, taking its total earning till now to Rs 6.80 crore.

Auron Mein Kahan Dum Tha :

Ajay Devgan and Tabu starrer ‘Auron Mein Kahan Dum Tha‘ also hit the theaters on August 2. The budget of this romantic drama is said to be around Rs 100 crore. The film grossed Rs 1.85 crore on its release day. On the second day on Saturday, ‘Aur Mein Kahan Dum Tha’ earned Rs 2.15 crore and the third day’s collection stood at Rs 2.75 crore.

At the same time, as soon as the weekdays entered, the film’s business started slowing down. Directed by Neeraj Pandey, the film collected Rs 75 lakh on the sixth day of its release, taking its total earnings so far to Rs 9.45 crore.

Deadpool and Wolverine :

The film ‘Deadpool and Wolverine‘, directed by Shawn Levy, has been earning well in India since its release on July 26. The film’s 13th day’s earnings figures have been revealed. The film starring Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman collected Rs 2 crore on the 13th day of its release. Including the earnings of the 13th day, the film has so far done a business of Rs 116.15 crore in India.

Bad News :

Vicky Kaushal and Trupti Dimri starrer ‘Bad News’ is now struggling at the box office after performing well in the initial days. There is a continuous decline in the film’s earnings. ‘Bad News’ earned Rs 45 lakh on the 20th day of its release. In this way, the total collection of the film so far has become Rs 61.20 crore.
