The story of the short movie revolves around a man named Carl Fredricksen.
Carl has lost his wife. He lives with his pet dog, Dug. Dug is his only companion in his lonely life now. He agrees to go on a date with Ms. Meyers. A woman who lives in a nursing home. Carl gets nervous while going on a date, but Dug encourages him and gives him ideas to make his date perfect and memorable.
