In the film Chandu Champion, directed by Kabir Khan, Kartik Aaryan plays a paralympic athlete. The actor is playing a sports biography for the first time.

With one of the hardest roles of his film career to date, Kartik Aaryan is ready to astonish the crowd. In Chandu Champion, the actor portraying Murlikant Petkar, a former Indian paralympian gold medallist, underwent physical transformations to fit the part. The May 30 release of the new song “Tu Hai Champion” showcases Kartik’s toned body.
Kartik Aaryan‘s instructor, Vijay Raaz, opens the music video by teaching him that a true champion faces his own demons rather than his opponents. Next, he inquires Chandu, also known as Murlikant, if he want to be a champion. The mentor pats his pupil as the latter responds, “Yes.”

The focus of the video then switches to Murlikant’s intense preparation for the boxing contest. Kartik Aaryan practices all the routines necessary to become a true champion, from quick warm-ups to punching bag exercises to swimming.

The song captures the spirit of never giving up in both life and sports. The music written by Pritam and composed by IP Singh has been well-represented by Arijit Singh and Amit Mishra.

In Kabir Khan‘s Chandu Champion, Kartik Aaryan plays the title character. In addition to Kartik, important roles in the film are played by Bhuvan Arora, Yashpal Sharma, Vijay Raaz, Aniruddh Dave, Palak Lalwani, and others.
The biographical sports drama was filmed in Jammu and Kashmir, Wai, and London. Production firms Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment and Kabir Khan Films support it, while Sajid Nadiadwala and Kabir co-produce it. The release date of Chandu Champion is set for June 14.
