Box Office Roar: ‘Chhaava’ Day 1 Triumphs, Vicky Kaushal Sets the Stage for a Blockbuster!
Actor Vicky Kaushal‘s lion roar has hit his new film ‘Chhaava‘ on the first day itself. The film has taken an opening of more than Rs 25 crores on the very first day of its release. This is also the biggest opening so far in Vicky Kaushal‘s career as a solo hero.
‘Chhaava‘ has not only become the biggest opener of Vicky Kaushal‘s career, the film has also taken steps towards making the weekend pleasant by earning about 20 percent of its cost on the first day itself. Maddock Films, the company that made the film ‘Chhaava‘, claimed on Thursday evening that about five lakh tickets of the film have been sold and the company also issued a statement calling it a film that has done amazing business even before its release.
This statement turned out to be true on Friday evening when the film crossed the 25 crore mark by late night. If the first day collection of any film is 20% or more of its making and promotion budget, then the chances of it becoming a hit become strong. The film ‘Chhaava‘ has been made in Rs. 130 crores.
