On Friday night, Chiranjeevi made his way back to Hyderabad and addressed the media at the airport. “I would like to thank everyone for having a hand in me receiving a Padma Vibhushan today,” he remarked, addressing everyone from producers to co-stars to directors. “Years of labour have gone into it, and I’m happy the government acknowledged that. Putting my charitable endeavours aside, my loved ones brought me to this point.”
Currently, Chiranjeevi and Trisha Krishnan are costarring in the socio-fantasy film Vishwambhara, directed by Mallidi Vassishta. The movie is currently in production and is scheduled to be released for Sankranthi in 2019. Ram and Kiara Advani are aiming for Shankar’s Game Changer.
