Choona tells the story of the ruthless urban development minister of the Swachh Samaj Party, named Avinash Shukla.
Avinash Shukla is an influential gangster turned politician. He has committed many crimes. He is very corrupt and murderous. He has made great money by cheating innocent people and by performing unbelievable crimes. He wants to go through the government.
He is very superstitious. He loots, steals, cheats, kills, and bribes, according to Vasu and astrology. He is also known as a calculator for his calculative mind. He always considers various astrological movements when doing any task.
A group of six people who were once wronged by Avinash Shukla come together to take revenge from him for his wrongdoings. They plan to perform a heist by using the method, which Shukla believes in very much.
Actors Jimmy Shergill, Aashim Gulati, Arshad Warsi, Vikram Kochhar, Namit Das, Chandan Roy, Gyanendra Tripathi, Monika Panwar, and Niharika Lyra Dutt are playing key roles, with various other actors playing supporting roles in the series.
The screenplay and direction of the series are done by Pushpendra Nath Misra.
The series is co-produced by Sonali Bhatia and Pushpendra Nath Misra under the banner of
Flying Saucer Production Company.
The music for the series is composed by Dhruv Ghanekar.
