S:2 E:2 Klein Matterhorn and Sunnegga Klein Matterhorn is the highest viewing platform in Europe that can be reached by cable car at 3883 meters, called Little Matterhorn because it’s next to the more famous Matterhorn. On the way down you could do some walking from the lower level into Zermatt, a perfectly easy hike. We also go up to the Sunnegga Mountain high above Zermatt town by underground funicular, and walk down.
