Martha Argerich has been dominating the piano scene since the 1960s thanks to a wide and varied repertoire, never conformist. Her phenomenal technique and great sensitivity have allowed her to stamp her mark on the most demanding works of the repertoire. In 2014, for the first time in ten years, she performs Tchaikovsky’s Piano Concerto No. 1 for the opening concert of the Verbier Festival.
