The science fiction movie tells a story when a man with superpowers get teamed up a group of criminals. His mother is sick and needs emergency treatment for which huge amount of money is required. The man with the superpower performs some illegal acts by using his abilities to gain large amount of money. But in the end he ends up getting into difficult situations.
The movie serves as a sequel to the movie Code 8 which was released in 2019. The first part of science fiction movie tells a story of a girl who seeks justice for her bother who was killed by a corrupt police officer. The girls seeks help from an ex-con person.
Actors Robbie Amell and Stephen Amell reprise their roles from the original film. Sirena Gulamgaus, Altair Vincent, Alex Mallari Jr., Moe Jeudy-Lamour, Aaron Abrams, and Jean Yoon are also playing key roles in the movie.
Directed by Jeff Chan, who co-wrote the screenplay with Chris Pare, Sherren Lee and Jesse LaVercombe. The movie is produced under the banner of XYZ Films and Collective Pictures.
The action based science fiction movie is going to release on OTT platform of Netflix on February 28, 2024.
