The movie is set in east Amsterdam. There is a young deliveryman named Amir. He has dreams of a better future. Amir wants to help his father, Omar, in his restaurant business. His father owns an outdated Mexican restaurant. His father is stubborn and doesn’t want to change his ancestral shop.
Their neighbourhood is getting modernised, but their restaurants follow the same old pattern. Convenience stores in their neighbourhood are replaced by trendy coffee shops, sushi shops, and fitness tudios. And their restaurant stands nowhere in front of them. This thing makes Amir frustrated.
Amir wants his restaurant to be a successful business. But he fails to do so. Because of his failure, he is stuck in the work of a deliveryman. On the other hand, Omar always degrades his son, Amir. He thinks that Amir is an irresponsible boy. He is not capable of taking over the restaurant. Omar keeps Amir busy delivering food orders.
These situations take turns When a large-scale developer approaches them to buy their building and increase the rent, Omar finally gets the idea of upgrading the restaurant. Amir sells useless potions of the place to teenage boys. He talks to a crypto tycoon about giving him a job. But the crypto tycoon turns out to be a scammer. And he plans a fraud against Omar and Amir. What will happen to Amir and Omar?
