Maharashtra Cyber Cell has now issued a second summon in the case of YouTuber Ranveer Allahabadia‘s objectionable comment made in the episode of ‘India’s Got Latent’. This summons has been issued for the show’s maker, host and comedian Samay Raina. The comedian has been asked to appear before the investigating officers on February 17. The lawyer had said – will return on March 17
Earlier on Wednesday, Samay Raina‘s lawyer had informed the cyber cell that the comedian is currently in America and will return on March 17. Let us tell you that recently Samay Raina said through a social media post that he has deleted all his videos.
The comedian will have to cancel his tour
Samay is busy these days with his US and Canada tour. The tour which started in Dallas on February 6 was to end in Chicago on March 2. However, now that the summons have been issued against Samay, he will have to cancel his tour and return to the country.
What if Samay does not return?
If Samay Raina does not cancel his tour and return to the country as per the summons or does not get relief from the court, then in such a situation the process of issuing an arrest warrant against him can be started.
