The movie revolves around a young noblewoman, she is protected and obedient. The young noblewoman accepts the attractive prince’s proposal of marriage, only to learn later that his family plans to sacrifice her in order to settle an old debt. She is trapped in a terrifying dragon’s cave and needs to use all of her cunning and determination to get by.
The forthcoming American dark fantasy movie Damsel is written and directed by Dan Mazeau and Juan Carlos Fresnadillo. Actors Ray Winstone, Nick Robinson, Shohreh Aghdashloo, Millie Bobby Brown, Angela Bassett, and Robin Wright are playing key roles in the movie.
The movie is based on the same-titled novel written by Evelyn Skye. The movie is produced by Joe Roth and Jeff Kirschenbaum under the banner of PMCA Productions and Roth/Kirschenbaum Films. Damsel is scheduled to be released by Netflix on March 8, 2024.
