A purported image of Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh, who are expecting their first child in September of this year, showing off a sonogram of the child is making the rounds on the internet.
According to reports, Deepika and Ranveer are seen holding a sonogram—possibly of their child—while sporting headgear with the words “Mom” and “Dad” sewn on them. Her dimples make her face look a lot like Deepika‘s, even if it’s not obvious in the picture. The soon-to-be father is, however, not looking at the camera.
Although the image confused followers and was extensively shared on social media, prompting a barrage of comments, the couple in the picture isn’t Deepika–Ranveer. It turns out that Halime Kucuk, an X user, revealed her pregnancy on the social media site on May 13 and is the person in the original photo.
Deepika and Ranveer, who wed in Italy in 2018, shared a joint Instagram post announcing her pregnancy in February 2024. They stated their baby is due in September 2024. Many Celebrities congratulated the couple on their good news included Priyanka Chopra, Sonam Kapoor, Shreya Ghoshal, Vikrant Massey, and Alia Bhatt.
