Dulquer Salmaan is in buzz after signing a project with the makers of epic movie Kalki 2898 AD
Dulquer Salmaan recently participated in the Pan India epic Kalki 2898 AD, which was directed by Nag Ashwin and starred Prabhas. The film is expected to gross more than Rs 1000 crore worldwide.
Dulquer Salmaan appeared briefly in Kalki 2898 AD as Captain, the protagonist’s unidentified foster father, who was played by Prabhas. Captain rescued and raised Bhairava from a war-torn region. He also mentors and trains him in nearly every subject, including fighting, technology, and how to survive in a selfish society.
Despite having minimal screen time, Dulquer‘s performance in Kalki 2898 AD drew attention. Nag Ashwin discussed Dulquer‘s role and the possibility for future chapters of Kalki Cinematic Universe.
Following his part in Kalki 2898 AD, Dulquer Salmaan has signed on with Vyjayanthi Movies for a forthcoming romance drama directed by Pavan Sadineni. Exciting rumours suggest that the film’s official announcement would coincide with Dulquer’s birthday on July 28, 2024.
In addition, Dulquer Salmaan‘s Telugu film Lucky Baskhar, directed by Venky Atluri and starring Meenakshi Chaudhary as his love interest, is set to be released in numerous Indian languages on September 7, 2024.
