Police pulled the cables

Before the singer could complete his song, a policeman came and pulled the cables attached to Sheeran’s microphone and guitar. Police said – a complaint of public nuisance was made.

A senior police officer of Cubbon Park police station said that Sheeran was performing without any permission, so he had to be stopped. He told news agency PTI, ‘The police reached there because someone had complained of public nuisance’. He said that if the musician and his team had a permit, they could have shown it to the police.
