Emraan Hashmi likewise avoids award ceremonies, as discussed on a podcast interview with Subhankar Mishra. During the conversation, he appeared to criticise Kangana’s comments.
During the interview, Emraan Hashmi was asked if he feels award shows are pointless, like Kangana, and he said, “Kyuki mila band ho gaya phir uske baad? I can’t remember why I went to the award ceremony, but the worth of cheez is important. If you don’t do well, what’s your excuse? I can’t do that since it must be honest based on your performance; otherwise, there is no value).”
