For the third consecutive term, Hema Malini has been victorious in the 2024 Lok Sabha elections from Mathura.
Esha Deol congratulated her mother Hema Malini on winning the Lok Sabha election. For the third consecutive occasion, the seasoned actor triumphed in Mathura.
“Congratulations mamma (heart, and smiley face emoticons) Hat trick,” Esha Deol said in the caption of a photo she posted of Hema Malini on Instagram.
In the Mathura seat of Uttar Pradesh, Hema Malini defeated Congress candidate Mukesh Dhanger in the Lok Sabha election of 2024 by a significant margin.
Hema Malini defeated RLD leader Jayant Chaudhary in the Mathura Lok Sabha seat by a margin of 22.65% in 2014. With a 60.88% vote share versus RLD candidate Kunwar Narendra Singh, she triumphed once more in 2019.
Actress-turned-politician MP Hema, gained attention when she recently said that she considers herself the “Gopi” of Lord Krishna.
The Mathura MP Hema told reporters, “I joined politics neither for name nor for fame. I did not join politics for any material gain.” Describing herself as Krishna’s Gopi, MP Hema said that since Lord Krishna loves the people of Brij, Therefore, she felt that if she worked in the service of all those people, they would shower their blessings on her too.
