Actor Vijay Devarakonda and Mrunal Thakur‘s next is the Telugu film ‘Family Star’. Directed by Parasuram, It is set for release in theaters on April 5, 2024. The makers have now launched the trailer for the film. The 2-minute, 3-second video portrays the lead played by Vijay Devarakonda as playing the role of a complete family man, and the trailer shows him as a man who showcases emption, action, drama, and emotion.
The film also has a dose of romance, drama, action and comedy. At the same time, fun and love-filled bickering was also seen between Vijay and Mrinal. At the end of the trailer, Mrinal is seen slapping Vijay.
As the title suggests, Family Star is about a working-class hero from a middle-class family who falls for a girl. Though the trailer doesn’t reveal much about the plot, it is hinted that the hero’s life takes a huge turn after he meets the girl. The conflict of the film is also not revealed.
After the 2018 blockbuster ‘Geeta Govindam’, Vijay Deverakonda and director Parashuram Petla are working together for the second time in ‘The Family Star’. The film is touted to be an action entertainer, which apart from Vijay and Mrunal, also stars Jagapathi Babu, Achyuth Kumar, Abhinay, Vasuki, Rohini Hattangadi and Ravi Babu, Divyansh Kaushik, Ajay Ghosh and many other actors in important roles.
