Fawad Khan discusses making his Indian supporters wait for the release of a film or series.
Fawad Khan is now promoting his recently launched Pakistani series Barzakh. The actor also has a large fan base in India. Fawad made his Bollywood debut in 2013 with the film Khoobsurat, starring Sonam Kapoor. He later appeared in two more Hindi films, Kapoor & Sons and Ae Dil Hai Mushkil, in 2016. Following the prohibition on Pakistani artists in India, Khan did not appear in any Bollywood films. However, the actor’s followers have never ceased admiring him.
After so many years, viewers will be able to watch a new Fawad Khan series on Zee5. The show, starring Sanam Saeed, is also available for streaming in India. Many fans are thrilled to see the actor reunite with his Zindagi Gulzar Hai co-star after over a decade. In an interview, the Kapoor & Sons star was asked how he felt about making his Indian fans wait so long to see him in a film or series. The actor had an intriguing response to this question.
In response to making Indian fans wait so long to see him on film, the Ae Dil Hai Mushkil star first expressed his gratitude for all of the support. Fawad told PTI that he apologised to his supporters for having to wait so long. However, it was not in his hands. The actor went on to say that he believes that everything happens for a reason. The actor stated that absence makes the heart grow fonder, as well as ‘aankh ojhal, pahaad ojhal’, which means out of sight, out of mind.
Fawad Khan is set to return to Bollywood after eight years in a love drama opposite Vaani Kapoor, according to recent rumours. According to the rumour, the actors will shoot the movie in London. When asked about a possible comeback, the actor stated that he is unaware of any. However, there is more to come. The actor revealed little about the project. So all we can do is wait for the formal announcement.
