SS Rajamouli has excited fans with news of the “Bahubali: Crown of Blood” animated series, assuring them that they won’t have to wait long for the trailer.
Director SS Rajamouli unveiled his latest project, “Bahubali: Crown of Blood,” on Tuesday. Taking to social media platform X, the filmmaker shared a video revealing the title of the series. Rajamouli also assured fans that the trailer would be coming out shortly. The video he posted showed the title emerging from a smoky background, accompanied by the chanting of “Bahubali” by people.
Sharing the video, Rajamouli wrote, “When the people of Mahishmati chant his name, no force in the universe can stop him from returning. Bahubali : Crown of Blood, an animated series trailer, arrives soon!” The filmmaker is yet to shed more light about the cast and story.
Bahubali isn’t new to animated adaptations. In 2017, Director Rajamouli introduced “Bahubali: The Lost Legends,” a four-season animated series available on Amazon Prime Video.
The Bahubali saga made waves globally, breaking records not just in India but also in Japan, China, and Europe. Directed by SS Rajamouli, Bahubali 2 raked in a whopping Rs. 1810 crores, becoming the second highest-grossing film in Indian cinema history. Domestically, it’s the top-grossing film. In 2017, Bahubali 2 transformed Indian cinema, setting unprecedented standards.
Both films boast an impressive cast, including Prabhas, Rana Daggubati, Anushka Shetty, Ramya Krishnan, Sathyaraj, and Nassar.
Rajamouli‘s latest project, “RRR,” starring Ram Charan and Jr NTR, garnered global acclaim. Its song “Naatu Naatu” even won an Oscar for Best Song in 2023.
