The conditions in Iran after the revolution had progressively grown worse in areas of women’s rights and civil liberties. Rather than live under these conditions, Mehrangiz Kar, a lawyer, decided to challenge the court and push for reform. She has become an outspoken critic of the government. This is her story and a story about the fight for rights in Iran.
