JOHN SINCLAIR Guide To Amsterdam

John Sinclair is a poet, DJ, one-time manager of the band MC5, and was jailed in 1969 after giving two joints to an undercover officer. His case received international attention when John Lennon performed at a benefit concert on his behalf in 1971. In Italy, Sinclair received the prestigious Premio Matteo Salvatore literary honor in November 2006. Today Mr. Sinclair divides his time between international touring and living in Amsterdam; writing, recording, performing and hosting the John Sinclair Radio Show on www.RadioFreeAmsterdam.com.
