Lot knew he had been blessed by God and his cousin Abraham but he did not respect the dangers of being with those who lived evil lives. Second Peter 2:7 says that Lot was distressed by the evil things that people were doing in Sodom and Gomorrah. Lot was a man who loved God, he underestimated the evil influence of those who had no respect for God. Lot was eventually saved from this evil city.
