First Act: A Documentary showing the life of a Child Artists streaming online

The latest released Documentary First Act shed light on the life of a child artist. The six part documentary series follows the life of six child artists. These child artist looks so innocent and playful. They adds cuteness to various shows and movies. Bit nobody knows about the struggles and pressures these child artists faced to maintain their career.

Whenever we talk about childhood certain things come to our mind. We consider childhood as a tension free time of our life. When we live freely and enjoy our time while playing and having fun with our friends. They are protected and kept away from the evils of world.But every child don’t have this luxury to spend a lively and carefree childhood.

The documentary First Act shows that part of childhood where a child is baring the pressure of work. They have to face the harsh realities of the world and have to deal with many problematic situations.

The life of a child artist is not easy as it seems to be. They have a constant pressure of work. They have deal with a professional pressure like any other adult. A child artist have to go through all the challenges which a adult artist goes through.

And they have to do good in their academic life also. They too have a personal life. But sometime these little beings fails to maintain a balance between there personal and professional lives.

These cute little child artists have a disturbing life which nobody knows about. And the six part gives a deep look into the life and struggles of a child artist.

The series is concept of the series is carried out by a Award winning filmmaker Deepa Bhatia. She is the director and producer of the documentary series. She is aasisted in creative production by Amole Gupte.

The series also shows various insights by the famous actors Sarika and Jugal Hansraj. Once being a child actors Taare Zameen Par famed Darsheel Safary and Parzaan Dastur are also featured in the series. Filmmakers Shoojit Sircar and Amole Gupte, along with casting directors Mukesh Chhabra, Honey Trehan, and Tess Joseph also share their perspectives on this serious topic.

The series puts emphasises on the well being of these innocent child artists. The documentary series was released on December 15, 2023 for online streaming on Prime Video.
