Saif Ali Khan Opens Up After Knife Attack: Six Days in the Hospital and Now Home
Film actor Saif Ali Khan will be discharged from Mumbai’s Lilavati Hospital today after five days. Earlier on Tuesday, the hospital doctors had said that Saif is fine now and the family can take him home whenever they want. Saif Ali Khan was attacked in his own house on January 16, in which he was seriously injured.
On Tuesday, Lilavati doctors had said that Saif is recovering and is able to walk on his own. The team of 4 doctors who operated and treated him had given permission to Saif‘s family to take him home. However, the panel of doctors had made it clear that when to take Saif home will be entirely his family’s decision.
Police on Sunday arrested the accused in the attack, (30) from Thane. According to police, the accused had illegally entered India seven months ago by crossing the Dawki river and had changed his name to Bijoy Das. Police said the accused spent a few weeks in West Bengal.
