Gangs of Godavari OTT release: May 31 saw the theatrical premiere of Krishna Chaitanya’s film Gangs of Godavari, which starred Vishwak Sen, Neha Sshetty, and Anjali in the key parts. Two weeks following its theatrical debut, the movie will be available for streaming on Netflix.
Gangs of Godavari will debut on Netflix on June 14; the company has published a new trailer for the movie. The teaser portrays Ratna (Vishwak) as the kind of man who works hard to rise to the top in order to become a politician. It depicts him falling in love with Bujji (Neha) and starting a family with her, but he also creates a lot of adversaries who endanger his tranquilly. He is portrayed as being merciless in his pursuit of dominance. The story of Gangs of Godavari spans several decades and is set in the coastal regions of Andhra Pradesh, India.
Regardless of the movie’s performance at the box office, certain recent releases’ brief theatrical runs have created a risky precedent. Krishnamma, starring Satyadev and directed by VV Gopala Krishna, was just available on Amazon Prime Video a week after it opened in theatres. Gangs of Godavari is the second Telugu movie to have such a brief theatrical run in recent memory.
