The series takes place in a small town in Oregon. There is a group of five students. They are close friends. They decide to have a Halloween party at the big mansions in town.
The mansion has been deserted for several years. It has a history of paranormal activities. It is famous as a haunted house because of some unusual incidents that happened there. Those incidents are still a mystery for the local residents of the town. There are several unbelievable stories related to the masion.
While partying, some unusual things start to happen. They start facing horrifying experiences during their stay at the haunted mansion. But they managed to escape from there. After escaping from the haunted house, they find that those supernatural powers are still following them. These supernatural powers are haunting them. They decided to know the truth behind these incidents. While dwelling on the mystery of the haunted house, the group of students discovers unbelievable facts about the supernatural powers. And they also get to know that these supernatural powers want revenge on these students.
Meanwhile, a new teacher has moved into town. He too has connections with the past of this haunted house. What is the secret story of the haunted house? Will the group of students ever find a way out of these paranormal activities?
Actors Justin Long, Ana Yi Puig, Miles McKenna, Will Price, Zack Morris, Isa Briones, and Rachael Harris are playing key roles in the series, with various other actors in supporting roles.
Goosebumps was developed by Rob Letterman and Nicholas Stoller. The series is co-produced by Nicholas Stoller, Rob Letterman, Neal H. Moritz, Pavun Shetty, Iole Lucchesse, Conor Wrench, and Caitlin Friedman in association with Stoller Global Solutions, Mofo Films, Original Film, Village Roadshow Television, Scholastic Entertainment, and Sony Pictures Television. The story of the series is inspired by a novel named Goosebumps written by R. L. Stine.
Goosebumps is going to premiere on October 13, 2023, on Disney+.
