The series revolves around a group of friends. Ahn Goong Chul, Jung Jae-hoon, Jo Hyung-woo, Park Choon-bok, and Cheon Man Shik are friends from college days and have known each other for 20 years. Their lives get disturbed, and many untold secrets come to light when one of these friends dies mysteriously.
Ahn Goong Chul has a perfect life and lives peacefully with his beautiful wife and son. He is working for a food franchise company. His wife, Nam Jung Hae, is working as a psychiatrist in a family hospital. She is intelligent and beautiful. She hides a dark past from her husband.
Jung Jae-hoon is a urologist. He comes from a wealthy family background. He is divorced and lives alone. He has a mysterious side. He has a past connection to Nam Jung Hae. Ahn Goong Chul is unaware of their past connections.
Jo Hyung Woo is an adult film director. He is married to Kang Kyung Ja. She is a former adult film actress and now owns a luxury bar. He is very dependent on income from the bar. They have a son named Kang Kyung Ja. He is a pro-golfer by profession.
Park Choon-bok is an insurance company worker and does a part-time job at a foreign car dealership. His wife, Yoo Eun Sil, is a housewife, and they have a daughter named Park Pu-reum. He is struggling financially.
Cheon Man Shik is a City Hall Tax Collection Division official. He is married and have a teenage daughter. He and Ahn Goong Chul are best friends and were roommates in college. He dies under unexpected circumstances.
