Harom Hara: Rescheduled from May 31 to June in order to prevent conflict with five other films

Harom Hara: Following a dry summer with few fresh releases, May 31 is jam-packed with five Telugu movie releases resulting in postponement of release

Harom Hara, was originally scheduled to release on May 31 but has been purposefully delayed to mid-June. In order to prevent a conflict with five other films, this decision was made. The crew behind the movie thinks it will guarantee a more concentrated and prosperous run at the box office.

The original plan was for Gnanasagar Dwaraka’s Sudheer Babu-starring film to be released on May 31 in observance of Mahesh Babu‘s late father-in-law Krishna’s birthday. The film’s crew has decided to delay the release rather than go up against five other pictures. It’s also important to remember that the Andhra Pradesh election results are scheduled to be released on June 4.

Sudheer announced that Harom Hara‘s new release date is June 14 on X, formerly Twitter. “#HaromHara will now be releasing in theatres worldwide on June 14th,” he said, citing a number of factors.

With just a few Telugu films making the jump from theatres in April and early May, it has been a dry summer for Telugu releases. Recent elections and the IPL both engaged in spoilsporting. The situation in the Telugu states has been grave, with few single screens in Telangana and Guntur in Andhra Pradesh choosing to close instead of showing the latest releases or re-releases of films like Aparichituru.
