Aamir Khan and Kiran Rao announced their divorce in the year 2021. Both decided to end their marriage of 16 years. However, both are co-parenting their son Azad together.
Despite the divorce, the friendship between the two remains intact. Even today, both share a good equation with each other and are also spotted together at many events. Now in an interview, Aamir told that the divorce did not affect the bond between him and Kiran.

In this interview, Aamir Khan also told that after the divorce, Kiran Rao had given him a list, which told how to be a good husband. After this, Aamir told the 11 points that Kiran had given him. One of those points was that Aamir does not give freedom of speech to other people. He talks too much. In an interview given to ‘The Hollywood Reporter’, Aamir told that if Kiran Rao had ever asked him how to be a good wife, he would have also given her a long list.

Speaking on this, he said, “Divorce did not affect our relationship. Be it professional or personal. Divorce is a word that means you are going away. We have separated from the relationship of husband and wife but we are not apart as human beings.”
