India’s Got Latent controversy: Ashish Chanchlani granted anticipatory bail

Gulawati High Court grants anticipatory bail to youtuber Ashish Chanchlani from “‘India’s Got Latent” case. Many FIRs were registered on February 10 under IT Act, Indian Penal Code (IPC), Cinematograph Act and Prohibition of Obscene Videos of Women Act

Ashish Chanchlani’s legal team is cooperating fully in the investigation in the court. On this, a bench headed by Justice Mridul Kumar Kalita has converted his interim relief into permanent bail.

Comedians Samay Raina, Jaspreet Singh, Apoorva Makhija and others were also involved in this case. Many FIRs have been registered across the country due to obscene comments in the show.
