Durante un’indagine per omicidio, una violenta tempesta provoca un blackout totale in città: Booth e Brennan rimangono intrappolati insieme dentro un ascensore., Brennan e la sua squadra devono indagare sull’omicidio di una ragazza trovata morta sull’autostrada durante una tormenta e affetta da una rara malattia infettiva: la Febbre Emorragica di Congo-Crimea. Però, mentre Bones e Sweets aiutano Booth a portare a casa sua dei sedili da stadio, tutta Washington rimane senza luce a causa del tempo e i nostri amici, tranne Sweets, rimangono chiusi nell’ascensore.
