On the matter, the Mumbai court has warned the Mandi MP and the actress one last time. If she does not appear in court, a non-bailable warrant can be issued against her. At present, no reaction has come from Kangana on this. Let’s know what is the whole matter.
Why was a non-bailable warrant demanded?
Actress and MP Kangana Ranaut was to appear in Mumbai’s Bandra Court on Tuesday. Her presence in the court was necessary to end the long-running legal battle between Bollywood lyricist Javed Akhtar and her. According to a report in E-Times, the actress said that she could not come to court due to being present in Parliament. However, advocate J.K. Bhardwaj, appearing for Akhtar, has demanded the issuance of a non-bailable warrant (NBW) against her for not appearing in court. He has filed an application regarding this.
Bhardwaj said that Ranaut was absent on the important dates of the case, which are about 40 dates, on which she had to be present in the court. Let us tell you that in December 2024, both Ranaut and Akhtar had decided to mediate in the matter. However, till now the court has not reached any conclusion in this matter.
