Jin’s tearful reunion with his BTS bandmates occurred following his release from the military. See how the group celebrated.

After completing his required training, Jin was eventually released from the military. New photos of World Wide Handsome having a wonderful reunion with his bandmates, who were waiting for him outside the venue, surfaced on social media on Wednesday. As RM played the saxophone to the tune of their smash song Dynamite, they all gave each other hugs.

In a recent video that appeared on social media fan pages, RM, J-Hope, Jimin, V and Jungkook gathered outside the entrance to greet Jin upon his release from military duty. Jin, who was dressed in military attire, also took a brief break to offer a hand salute. The first person to welcome him was RM, who even gave a saxophone performance of their Grammy-nominated smash song Dynamite.

But Suga was the one who was absent. Shortly after, BTS‘s X account shared a group photo of Jin in honour of his military discharge. A white cake and some muffins were placed on the table in front of the BTS members, who were seen sitting on the couch and making the peace sign. Additionally, there was a sign that said, “Jin is back,” written on the wall behind them.

“Home isn’t a place, it’s a feeling,” a Army remarked. “Welcome back, my beautiful Jin bts family,” said a second Army. A comment said, “BTS tweet on their personal account for the first time in almost exactly six months to declare JIN IS BACK and reunite as seven with their pre-approved time off to celebrate the end of Jin’s enlistment.” “You guys are missed!” read a different comment.

In December 2022, Jin enlisted in the military. The BTS member enlisted in the military in a front-line boot camp in South Korea for his 18-month service. Jin reported to Yeoncheon, a town close to the volatile border with North Korea, for boot camp. In five weeks, he and the other conscript soldiers underwent basic military training. He and the other conscripts were assigned to army battalions following their training.
