Kaala is the story of an intelligence officer named Ritwik. He is investigating a case that involves a leading businessman named Naman Arya.
The businessman is suspected to be involved in the illegal transfer of black money out of the country.
While Ritwik puts all of his efforts into tracking the illegal actions, some unplanned actions lead him to be labelled as a criminal.
