Kalki 2898 AD on OTT: Prabhas, Amitabh Bachchan and Deepika Padukone starrer Kalki 2898 AD arrives on streaming platforms Netflix and Prime Video on August 22. After its theatrical release, earning over ₹1200 crore worldwide, fans were eagerly waiting for the digital release of the pan-India film.
However, a controversy occurred before the digital premiere of Kalki 2898 AD. Arshad Warsi said in an interview that Prabhas looked like “Joker” in the film.
Arshad‘s comments left netizens divided, with Prabhas fans trolling the Munna Bhai star for his rudeness. On the other hand, many agreed with the Bollywood actor as he described Prabhas’ performance as Bhairava as the “weakest” link of the film.
Soon after Arshad’s comments went viral, some people agreed with him while others disagreed.
