Kangana Ranaut slap incident: Netizens strongly condemn the assault and question airport safety standards

Netizens were outraged by the Kangana Ranaut slap incident. They mentioned the security lapse in addition to challenging the airport’s safety regulations.

Kangana Ranaut is currently making headlines following an uncomfortable incident on Thursday afternoon at the Chandigarh airport, where she was smacked by a female member of the CISF. At the time of the occurrence, the actress turned politician who had won the Lok Sabha Elections 2024 in Mandi, Himachal Pradesh, was on her way to Delhi, Parliament.

Following this occurrence, Netizens have begun questioning safety regulations and pointing up security flaws. They have responded angrily to the situation and are likewise in favour of Kangana Ranaut.

“Different viewpoints shouldn’t lead to violence,” one person noted, while another said, “This is a security breach itself! Furthermore, why does the CISF constable prioritise her personal views over her duties?” It raises concerns about Chandigarh Airport’s hiring and duty distribution procedures.

After arriving in Delhi, Kangana Ranaut posted a video in which she claimed to be safe but raised concerns about the situation in Punjab. “First of all, I’m safe and doing just fine,’ she declared. What transpired at the airport in Chandigarh took place during the security check. After I completed the check, a CISF agent waiting for me to cross her approached me and struck me in the face. She was in a different compartment. She mistreated me as well. She responded that she backed the farmer’s protest when I asked her why she did this. How can we deal with the terrorism that is spreading over Punjab is my main concern.” Kangana Ranaut posted.

This incident’s video footage is unsettling. An assault on the Mandi people is an attack on our elected Member of Parliament. This is a very concerning occurrence that has to be handled right away.
