“Secrets and Suspense: How a Game of Truth Turns into a Thrilling Mystery in Khel Khel Mein”
In the newly launched trailer of Khel Khel Mein, Akshay Kumar, Taapsee Pannu, Fardeen Khan, Vaani Kapoor, Aditya Seal and Amy Virk invite each other to play a game of truth with their mobiles!
The trailer starts with a very catchy line that reads, ‘We’re inviting you to the most twisted game night since Landline!’. It all starts when seven best friends sit down and brainstorm an idea to pass the time. That’s when we are introduced to seven people (who are either friends or a couple) in the form of Akshay Kumar, Taapsee Pannu, Fardeen Khan, Vaani Kapoor, Ammy Virk, Pragya Jaiswal and Aditya Seal!
Even if they are either best friends or a couple, they don’t know what’s in each other’s phones! After that, the actors discussed their comments on each other’s phones and phone etiquette!
Then Vaani Kapoor asks her friends to play a game in which everyone will have to unlock their mobile. And whenever a call or message comes, it has to be read or spoken out loud in front of everyone! Hearing this, mixed reactions are seen from the ‘participants’.
While on one hand the women present there seem to be very excited about this game, on the other hand the boys start reconsidering whether to play the game or not! Then Amy Virk expresses her fear and says, instead of the above mentioned game, why not play a game like Antakshari or Dumb Sharas!
Vani continues her rules saying that until the night falls, all their phones will become and will remain public property. After this, calls and messages start coming on the phone one after the other. But the biggest thing is that Aditya Seal gets a call from Tiger Shroff, hearing which everyone is shocked! After this, many such mysterious calls come, which bring each other under suspicion.
One can guess that all of these activities, which start out as a game… will eventually lead to something bigger (either a problem or a mystery!). Hence, the title… Sports in Sports!
The film is being directed by Mudassar Aziz and produced by Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar, Vipul D Shah, Ashwin Varde, Rajesh Bahl, Shashikant Sinha and Firuzi Khan. The film will be released on August 15.
