Kill box office collection: Nikhil Nagesh Bhatt’s extreme violent thriller, starring Lakshya, Tanya Maniktala, and Raghav Juyal.

Kill had a single Bollywood premiere this week as Neeraj Pandey’s love saga Auron Mein Kahan Dum Tha, starring Ajay Devgn and Tabu, was postponed indefinitely due to distributor and exhibitor requests. However, the holdover from last week, Nag Ashwin’s post-apocalyptic sci-fi epic Kalki 2898 AD, continues to perform well at the Indian box office.

Kill, on the other hand, has a newcomer in the lead role. It is also an adult film due to the intense gore, which limits its audience in movie theatres. Despite being co-produced by Karan Johar‘s Dharma Productions and Oscar winner Guneet Monga’s Sikhya Entertainment, it will open on its own for a week. Next Friday, July 12, Sudha Kongara’s Soorarai Pottru remake Sarfira, starring Akshay Kumar, and Shankar’s action epic Indian 2, starring Kamal Haasan, will open in theatres.

Kill grossed Rs. 1.35 crore net on its first day, followed by Rs. 2.20 crore net on Saturday and Rs. 2.70 crore net on Sunday. Despite receiving favourable reviews since its release, the film’s box office performance has been subpar, with a total weekend collection of Rs. 6.25 crore nett. The film’s performance on Monday and subsequent days will be critical.

Nikhil Nagesh Bhatt directs Kill, which stars Lakshya, Raghav Juyal, Tanya Maniktala and Ashish Vidyarthi in prominent roles. The film is produced by Karan Johar, Guneet Monga, Apoorva Mehta, and Achin Jain.
