The story of the movie is set in a fictional town called Kotha, situated on the border of Kerala and Tamil Nadu. A newly transferred CI officer, Shahul, to Kotha finds that a lot of youngsters in the town are involved in drug addiction. He starts investigating the drug mafia in the town. He learned from SI office Tony Titus that there is a huge drug kingdom present in the town, and it is currently ruled by Kannan Bhai.
CI Shahul decided to meet Kannan Bhai for further investigation. But he gets humiliated by the mafia leader. This makes Shahul understand that Kannan is out of his reach and that he has to look for an alternate way to put him down.
Digging deeper into the past of the town, Shahul learns about its former leader, Raju. He got to know the life journey of Raju and the way he became the underworld leader of the town. But for some reasons, Raju left the town and never came back. His best friend Kannan took his place as a leader.
Shahul realises that only Raju can control the destructive drug situation in the town. He set up the search mission for the real King of Kotha.
Actors Dulquer Salmaan, Shabeer Kallarakkal, Prasanna, Gokul Suresh, Aishwarya Lekshmi, Nyla Usha, Chemban Vinod Jose, Shammi Thilakan, Saran, Shanthi Krishna, and Anikha Surendran are playing key roles, with various other actors playing supporting roles in the movie.
