The series revolves around a young girl named Jo Yeo Hwa. She has become a widow in a very young age.

Jo Yeo Hwa is a daughter-in-law of a the most prestigious noble family in Joseon. Her father-in-law Seok Ji Sung is the member of the left state council.

The young widow is living a double life. Jo Yeo Hwa lives a very quite and secluded life at her home. The whole she lives a normal life which any widow would persue.

But at night she sneaks out of her house. And help those people who are in need. In the night Jo Yeo Hwa is a very courageous girl who can fight with any troublemaker.

None of the family members known about Jo Yeo Hwa’s double life. One day she gets to meet a young man named Park Soo Ho. He is a military officer and good at martial arts. He is intelligent and handsome man.

Park Soo Ho and Jo Yeo Hwa starts to help people together at night. By the time they grew closer. Jo Yeo Hwa develops feelings for Park Soo Ho. She starts to see her future with Park Soo Ho.

But will her family support her? What if they get know about the night life of Jo Yeo Hwa? Will this thing can strain the prestige of her family?

The story of the Kdrama series is co-written by Lee Sam and Jeong Myung In. It is based on a webtoon of the same Korean title which was launched through KakaoPage.

The kdrama series is co-directed by Jang Tae Yoo, Choi Jeong In and Lee Chang Woo. And co-produced by Kim Jeong Mi, Lee Wol Yeon, Yang So Young and Pyo Hee Seon under the banner of Base Story, Film Geurida and Saram Entertainment.
