Kunchacko Boban, a popular Malayalam cinema actor who made his mark with his chocolate boy image, is not only known for his romantic roles but also for his serious, suspense, crime and comic roles.
Recently, he made a shocking revelation and said that he considered the film industry to be the reason for the ruin of his life. In his childhood, he started hating cinema due to his family’s financial crisis and flop films.
But his life had something else in store for him. Today, he is not only a successful actor but also a producer. He has worked in more than 100 films in Malayalam cinema. He said that he had never planned to become an actor, but whatever he has done today, he is very proud of it.
By doing films like Officer on Dutty, he has broken his old image and established himself as a serious artist.
His family was also associated with Malayalam cinema. His grandfather started Kerala’s first film studio Udaya Pictures.
Kunchacko Boban’s The upcoming film is ‘Oru Durooha Saahacharyathil’ which is directed by Balakrishnan Poduval. This film will be released on 9 May 2025
