Kusha Kapila says society is unkind to women: ‘I didn’t have the bandwidth’
Kusha Kapila, the popular content creator and actor, recently opened up about the emotional toll of her divorce from Zorawar Singh Ahluwalia. Reflecting on the experience, Kusha revealed that she had to shut herself off from opinions and comments, as she didn’t have the emotional capacity to handle them.

She emphasized how society is often harsher on women during such challenging times. Kusha also shared that her mother had to bear the brunt of societal judgment, which made the situation even more difficult.

She acknowledged that while we hope for societal progress, certain deep-seated biases remain unchanged. Kusha also highlighted the reality of being a public figure, noting that once you share your life online, you can’t control the narratives that others create.
Despite the challenges, Kusha’s focus remains on surrounding herself with people who understand and support her, while managing her public persona more cautiously.
Kusha Kapila is set to star in an upcoming Disney+ Hotstar series titled Life Hill Gai. The show will explore the humorous and chaotic aspects of life, blending her unique style of comedy with relatable storytelling.
