Lu Xun is a famous lawyer who has never lost a case. He is co-owner of a leading law firm. He is arrogant and a hard-working boss. His father is a famous judge. His mother is a well known doctor.
Qian Wei is 28 years old and a paralegal working under Lu Xun. She is capable and has good knowledge as a legal officer. Qian Wei is an energetic and feisty woman with ideals. Her father died on the same day she was supposed to sit for the law exam. That has become a psychological barrier for her. She has not been able to pass her judicial entrance examination to be a qualified lawyer.
Lu Xun and Qian Wei used to study at the same university. Because of some grudges from the days when they were students, Lu Xun makes trouble for Qian Wei, who is now working as his assistant.
Qian Wei has a tragic accident and gets into a coma. She feels like she is in an another world. In this world, she finds a very different Lu Xun. Meeting him in this dream world, Qian Wei discovers an entirely different side of her pernickety boss.
This tragic incident makes Lu Xun change his attitude towards Qian Wei. He begins to realise his true feelings for her.

The story of the series is co-written by Jia Bin Bin, Ma Yu Xin and the series is directed by Xue Ling. The series is produced by Zhang Meng in association with Youhug Media production company.
