Lisa Mishra Debut- Multi-talented singer and now soon to be an actress, Lisa Mishra is all set to make her acting debut in the upcoming web series “Call Me Bae” produced by Dharma Productions under their branch Dharmatic Entertainment. The premiere will be on Amazon Prime.
Known for her powerful voice and soulful performances, Lisa‘s foray into the world of acting has been a long-awaited journey. Reflecting on her casting, Lisa shared, “When my audition came it was a surprise to the directing team because they only knew me as a singer before.
But acting has always been a dream, and it was a craft I had been quietly working on for years. It took me a long time to get here and break it. Of course, singing is my first love, but I wanted to quench this craving for acting. After a lot of patience, finally this time has come.”
The excitement surrounding her debut is definitely worth seeing, as Lisa also recently expressed her feelings about the achievement on social media. She wrote, “I can’t wait to show you all my first series.
Call Me Bae was a dream come true, and to present such a program, that too launching with Dharma and Amazon Prime, is really incredible for me too. I have been auditioning with Panchami Ghavri since 2018, honing my language skills and screen presence over the years waiting for this moment.
This journey taught me to be patient and persevere – what is meant to happen will not happen overnight. I hope I’ve made my mentors proud and you’ll enjoy my first acting performance.” Lisa’s foray into acting with Call Me Bae marks a turning point in her career, showcasing her versatility beyond the music industry.
