Lok Sabha Election 2024 : Bollywood couple Riteish Deshmukh and Genelia Deshmukh was spotted at a polling station in Latur, Maharashtra, participating in the ongoing Lok Sabha Elections 2024. This phase of voting covers 94 constituencies across 10 states and one Union Territory.
In a video circulating on social media, Riteish and Genelia were captured entering the polling booth to cast their votes. Riteish wore a white kurta while Genelia looked radiant in a yellow saree. The couple patiently waited in line for their turn to vote, demonstrating their commitment to the democratic process.
After casting her vote, Genelia, encouraging everyone to exercise their right to vote, emphasising its importance in shaping the future. she said
“very important”. “This is an important day. Voting is important. Every citizen must go and vote. I think this is very important,” she said.
Riteish also added, “I came to Latur from Mumbai to cast my vote. Everyone should come out of their houses and cast votes. Today is an important day. Everyone should definitely vote.”
Meanwhile, Genelia Deshmukh is gearing up for her role in Aamir Khan’s much-awaited movie, “Sitaare Zameen Par.” Although specifics about her character remain under wraps, sources indicate that the film could be released in theaters around Christmas this year.
Riteish Deshmukh has joined the cast of upcoming film, “Raid,” the sequel to the original directed by Raj Kumar Gupta. Produced by T-Series and Panorama Studios, the movie is currently in production and is set to release on November 15 this year.
